Description
President Walter S. Davis Spoke at the Annual Athletic Awards Dinner at Tennessee State University. Three Athletics Were Given Four Year Awards. Receipients Were Willie Thomas, Basketball Captain Who Toured the Middle West and Pacific Coast With the College All-Stars In Their Series of Games Against the Harlem Globetrotters; William Reed, Another Basketball Standout, and Donald Jackson, Member of the State's Swimming Team. Miss Lela Gracey, Miss Tennessee State of 1954, Also Was Honored, Receiving a White School "T" Sweater.
