Description

Jean Patton Is Welcomed Home to Tennessee A & I State College With a Parade in Her Honor. She Was Lauded as the "World's Fastest Woman" After Her Performance in the Inaugural Pan-American Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1951. Patton Won the Gold Medals for the 200 Meters and the 4x100 Meter Relay, and a Silver in the 100 Meters.
