The Public's Perception of Offender Rehabilitation
Abstract
This research is aimed toward gaining useful insight concerning the public's perception of the effectiveness and necessity of offender rehabilitation. The Research Question addresses whether gender, race, age, education, and marital status has any affect on the perception of Nashville, Tennessee citizens regarding offender rehabilitation and its impact on the sense of community safety. The researcher collected and used primary data from a survey containing demographic information and a five-point Likert scale.
