An examination of the use of music education software in public high schools in Davidson County and surrounding counties in Tennessee
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the current usage of Music Education Software by public high school music teachers in middle Tennessee. A survey was used to gather responses from public high school music teachers in Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Sumner, Wilson, Rutherford, and Williamson counties in middle Tennessee. The survey includes questions regarding how and music teachers are using MES, what MES programs are being used, student achievement when using MES, and Overall Satisfaction when incorporating MES into music lessons.
